two-week vegan

as of tomorrow, tuesday, may 3rd, i will be following a vegan diet, thus cutting out all animal products, for the next two weeks. such foods include: cheese, meat, eggs, milk, & honey- to name just a few. spoiler alert: i don't eat meat or dairy products often. however, this will be a great challenge for me as i love sweets (cough. . . chocolate) and grabbing food "on the go". maintaining a vegan diet will force me to plan my meals, spend less $$$ eating out, & avoid munching mindlessly on unhealthy choices.

my two-week food escapade will undoubtedly give rise to many vegan recipes & findings in my upcoming posts.
